Especially in view of the Corona crisis, the demand for hygiene textiles “Made in Germany” increased enormously. Through flexibility and with the help of our in-house laboratory and our application technologie team, we were able to present and implement large-scale, just-in-time, well-founded and solution-oriented developments tailored to very short-term customer requests. 

A Saxon network of suppliers, outfitters and manufacturers also helped. Our PUR coatings from the VOWA_tec medilind® segment have made their contribution to protecting children and adults, patients and medical staff in hospitals or care facilities, especially during the Corona pandemic. Our customers use the medilind® coatings to produce, among other things: Reusable mouth/nose masks according to EN 14683:2019 or reusable work clothing according to DIN EN 14126:2004. In addition to the excellent properties such as: bacteria and virus proof, antibacterial and fungicidal, wipeable and disinfectable, these high-tech hygiene textiles score points with ecological sustainability - they are reusable, biocompatible according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5+10 and according to OEKO-Tex Standard 100 - product class 1 certified.
